Hello, I'm Marcel Gold, a 31-year-old residing in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Since 2019, I've been passionately dedicated to the art of restoring and colouring photos. My profound love for history is what drives me in this creative endeavor. I find it immensely rewarding to breathe life into old photographs by adding vibrant colour, giving them a renewed sense of existence, and revealing the world as we perceive it – in colour.

What truly fascinates me is delving into the historical context of each photo I work on. Every image has its unique story, waiting to be unveiled, and I relish the process of discovery.

In my daily life, I work as a mechanic, which allows me to apply my technical skills in a different context. When I'm not immersed in the world of photo restoration, my interests revolve around history, sports, especially Military and AFL, and I love ice hockey.
